When she is not working, she is an outdoor athlete who loves running, hiking, mountaineering, and skiing.

A frequent traveler to the Colorado and the Pacific Northwest, she enjoys backcountry camping and has successfully made it to the summits of several Colorado 14ers (peaks above 14,000 feet) and Mount Rainier, which is ranked as the hardest climb in the lower 48 states. She is currently training to climb Denali, the highest peak in North America.

Caitlin currently lives in New Jersey with her husband Rich, four stepchildren, and their rescue dog, Daisy.
